What you'll do
As a Supply Chain Analyst within the Sales & Operations Planning Team, you are acting as the link between Crisp's commercial, operational, and analytics teams. With the input of all teams, you predict how many customers we will deliver tomorrow, next week or next month, as well as how many bananas are in their baskets. This knowledge enables you to help our Last Mile and Warehouse teams plan sufficient employees while preventing costly overcapacity. Furthermore, you decide on a strategy how many bananas (among 4000+ other products) we need to stock in our inventory, such that they are not too green nor too brown when they arrive at our customers. You actively monitor the results of your strategies, identify current and future challenges, and work with all involved teams at Crisp to address them. That way, you ensure that we can run our operations as efficiently as possible on a daily basis.
- You analyze our customer behaviour and optimize the output of our forecast models, taking input from both our commercial and operational teams into consideration.
- You collaborate closely with our operational teams on a daily basis to ensure optimal planning of delivery drivers and order pickers.
- You actively contribute to improving our forecast model by working with the analytics team.
- You work on strategic projects aimed at improving our supply chain, acting as the crucial link between all involved teams.
- You determine the inventory strategy for a part of our assortment to optimize availability in the shop while preventing products from expiration.
What you'll bring
- You have a completed university master degree.
- You have 0-2 years of work experience.
- You have strong communication skills and enjoy working and collaborating with other teams.
- You are data-driven, analytical, and have strong conceptual thinking abilities.
- You are passionate about operational challenges, both planned and unplanned, and have a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management or Demand Planning is a plus.
