What you will do

In this role you will be end responsible for driving growth and acquisition of new customers. You will:

  • develop and execute marketing & growth strategies

  • innovate and develop new growth levers

  • coach and develop channel leads (digital performance, PR, social, local/activations)

You report directly to Eric (founder of Crisp), who is responsible for the proposition and growth of Crisp. Together with your colleagues you will not only optimise existing channels to acquire new customers, but work on innovative ways to smartly spend our marketing budget and find new ways to grow.

In this role you work with our in-house Creative team to refine brand positioning and creative effective campaigns. You are able to tailor your approach and strategy to both industry trends (e.g. upcoming marketing channels) and a true understanding of customer behaviour and dynamics. Crisp works based on insights from customers, whether these are qualitative ore quantitative, they are equally important and as much as possible leveraged by you and your colleagues. You collaborate with other teams such as Product on user insights, Assortment on product campaigns and Analytics on campaign reporting and attribution.

  • Develop and execute a coherent marketing & growth strategy:

    • Performance advertising and analytics.

    • Owned and earned channels strategy.

    • Marketing calendar and campaign delivery.

    • Review growth targets and levers periodically.

    • Drive continuous optimisation of marketing and creative budget allocation.

    • Input into product offerings and customer communication mechanisms.

  • Innovate and develop new growth levers:

    • Innovative ways to grow with existing channels, using a rigorous testing framework.

    • New approaches to grow brand awareness in a cost effective way.

    • New channels for a more targeted approach of customer acquisition.

  • Coaching and developing a team of leads and specialists:

    • Ensure optimal resource allocation within the team and with external partners, and an agile way of working.

    • Support professional growth through coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.

What you will bring

  • You have a university-level degree.

  • At least 10 years of work experience in marketing.

  • A strong sense of ownership and a proactive mindset.

  • Expertise in both brand campaigns and growth-focused performance channels.

  • Skilled at collaborating with creative teams and bridging strategy with execution.

  • Strong data-driven way of working: knowledge of attribution, skilled in allocating budget per channel based on expected payback, and working hypothesis and experiment based.

  • Hands-on experience and a willingness to stay involved in the team’s day-to-day work.

  • Ability to prioritise and drive results across multiple marketing channels.

  • You are fluent in Dutch.
